Experts have described the huge and paperless Budget-2024 of Uttar Pradesh Government as a budget of inclusive development. According to him, new schemes worth Rs 24 crore will accelerate development. The budget has been allocated keeping all sectors in mind.

In this, funds have been allocated keeping in mind equally all sections of the society and all sectors of the economy – agriculture, construction, industry, health, infrastructure, education, poor class, youth, employment, tourism development etc. Keeping the fiscal deficit of the state GDP at 3.46 is certainly a big achievement of the government and is a symbol of the good economic condition of the state.

Registration of more than eight crore workers on “e-Shram” portal will be helpful in creating a balance between their demand and supply. The government has also taken commendable steps to make higher education vocational and to meet the demand of skilled youth in industries. Establishment of new universities, operation of new courses, increase in seats in medical and engineering etc. are good steps for the students.

Employment opportunities for youth will increase

According to Dr. Sharad Chandra Bhardwaj of the Economics Department of Agra College, this is the biggest budget till date. In this, special attention has been given to youth, farmers and women. Establishment of semi-conductor units is an important step in this budget, which will increase employment opportunities for the youth. The amount of Rs 1750 crore for the development of charitable routes is certainly welcome. Widening of state roads is also an important step towards development. The budget talks about provision of 18 to 19 hours electricity supply to villages. Besides, adequate funds have also been allocated in the budget for basic needs like education, health and drinking water. Overall, this budget is for inclusive development.
